How does Cactus Work?

Granting Access to Your Library

Go to your library home screen.
Slide left the library you wish to grant access to.
Tap the add user button.
Enter the *email or username of the user you are granting access to.
Your library will now appear on the library home screen of the user you granted access to.

*If the person whose email you entered does not yet have Catus they will receive instructions on how to join. Once they have registered and installed the iPhone app your library will appear on their library home screen.

Discovering a friend’s library

Your friend will need to follow the steps for “granting access to your library” and enter your email address associated with your cactus account.
Your friend’s library will automatically appear on your library home screen once they have granted you access.

Revoking Access to your library

Go to your library home screen.
Slide left the library you wish to revoke access to.
Locate the user you’d like to remove and tap the "Remove" button.

Creating a playlist

Select library from library home screen.
Tap the “Playlists” tab on the bottom of the screen.
Tap the “+” button at the top right corner of the screen.
Name the playlist and tap “create”.

Adding a track to a playlist

Locate the track you’d like to add.
Swipe the track left
Tap the "Add Playlist" button.
Select or create the playlist you’d like to add it to.

Sending a track as a mixtape

Locate the track you’d like to add.
Swipe the track left
Tap the "Add Mixtape" button.
Locate the user you’d like to send the mixtape to and tap "Send".

Rearrange the order of tracks in a playlist

Select library from library home screen.
Tap the “Playlists” tab on the bottom of the screen.
Select the playlist that you’d like to edit.
Hold the track you want to move and drag the track to the position you’d like it to be in.

Deleting a track from a playlist

Select library from library home screen.
Tap the “playlist” tab on the bottom of the screen.
Select the playlist that you’d like to edit.
Slide left the track that you'd like to delete
Tap the “Delete Button” button.

Deleting a playlist

Select library from library home screen.
Tap the “Playlists” tab on the bottom of the screen.
Slide left the playlist that you'd like to delete
Tap the “Delete Playlist” button.
Tap “Delete” to permanently delete.
